Define the Business Infrastructure

An important aspect of implementing your service desk using CA Service Desk Manager is to define your business infrastructure by setting up the following:

• Configuration item families and classes
• Manufacturers and models
• Service statuses
• Vendors and vendor types

The following information provides a general description for each object and explains how the object is used in the product.
