Integrating with CA Service Desk Manager › Prerequisites
Prerequisites
To enable the integration between CA Service Desk Manager and CA Service Catalog, meet the following prerequisites:
- You must be familiar with basic functions and administration of CA Service Desk Manager, including the critical integration-specific terminology.
- You must be familiar with basic functions and administration of CA Service Catalog, especially related to Service Builder.
- Both CA Service Catalog and CA Service Desk Manager must be installed, configured, and running.
- Ensure that CA Service Catalog and CA Service Desk Manager share the same MDB and the same installation of CA EEM.
- If your implementation of CA Service Desk Manager uses CA Process Automation and the ITIL content pack, review the related best practices for using the CA Process Automation chapter and related support documents. Also, read and follow the instructions in the related CA Support documents that apply to your implementation.
