Large Architecture

The large architecture includes clustered multiple web server clusters and a database cluster.

The large architecture includes one clustered server for CA Service Catalog and CA Service Accounting, one clustered server for CA Workflow, two load balancer servers, and a clustered database server

CA Service Catalog and CA Service Accounting are installed on two physical computers, each one having two horizontal or vertical cluster nodes. Thus, there are four servers, which are named V1, V2, V3, and V4. The four servers could be configured as a single horizontal or vertical cluster.

CA Service Catalog and CA Service Accounting clustering is provided through Service View clustering), as explained in Key Terms and Concepts. For more information about clustering and load balancing, see that section and the chapter "Clustering."

CA Workflow is installed on three physical computers that are placed in a separate, vertical cluster.

The database server is replaced with a cluster to improve throughput and responsiveness.
