Updates Made by the Ant Command
When you run the ant command to create a Service View cluster, it makes several updates to files and folders, as follows. In the following list, the number in Viewnumber specifies the node number of the cluster, which is also named the cluster number. For example, View1 is the folder for cluster 1, View2 is the folder for cluster 2, and so forth.
- Copies and creates files, folders, and services; for a summary, see Set Up Each Additional Cluster.
- In the Viewnumber\conf folder, the server.xml file is updated with required changes, as explained in Updates to the Server.xml File.
- In the Viewnumber\conf folder, the viewservice.conf file is updated with required changes, as explained in Updates to the Viewservice.conf File.
- In the Viewnumber\conf folder, the log4j.properties file is updated with required changes, as explained in Updates to the Log4j.properties File.
- A new Windows service is created, using the viewservice.bat file, as explained in New Windows Service Created.
