*If you are already using CA Workflow for both approval and fulfillment, but you want to add direct email approval, you can optionally install CA IT PAM and use it for direct email approval only, while optionally retaining CA Workflow for logged in approval. While we do not suggest using both direct email approval and logged in approval, this setup is possible.

**You must customize your request approval email to use your custom statuses. This email is sent by the Notify Approver action or sent by the USM_Approval process definition, whichever is applicable for your implementation.
