Capture Windows Driver Collections

For the successful deployment of RSI images on Windows, it is often necessary to deploy the drivers associated with software in the image. After RSI is successfully installed and configured, use CA Server Automation to capture driver collections directly from driver media for deployment with RSI images.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Resources, right-click Data Center in the Explore tree, and select Management, RSI Resources.

   The RSI Resources panel opens.

2. Select the Driver Collection tab.

   The Driver Collection list displays the current set of captured driver collections.

3. Click + (Collect Driver Import) in the toolbar.

   The Collect Driver Import dialog opens.

4. Enter the media to capture from, a description for the driver collection, the source and vendor IDs and click OK.

   The dialog submits a request to capture the driver collection from the target media. Track the progress of the capture in the Jobs pane.
