Installation

In this release, the following new features or changes are available:

Installation Wizard

• Validates your environment before installation and lets you apply available patches at the end of installation
• Installs a standalone patch utility that is available in the System Tray after installation
• Provides a simplified installation path for installing core components; CA integration products (such as CA Process Automation) can be configured in the user interface after installation.

Upgrade

• Upgrade is documented in the CA Server Automation Installation Guide.
• Allows upgrades from 12.5 and 12.6.
• Uninstall is no longer required for an upgrade.
