Import Templates from CA AppLogic

CA Server Automation enables you to import AppLogic application templates, and create equivalent service templates.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Resources, and in the Explore tree, right-click an AppLogic grid, and select Management, Import AppLogic Template to Service Template.
  2. Select the template to import, optionally edit the Service Template Prefix, and click OK.

    CA Server Automation imports the AppLogic template and creates a service template, named with the prefix and template name.

    Edit the service template as required, using the Options tab to configure the AppLogic properties of the service.

    Note: CA Server Automation automatically creates a reservation template for use in Reservation Manager based on the service template.
