Run a Network Automation Script

CA Server Automation lets you run CA Network Automation scripts from the CA Server Automation user interface. CA Server Automation provides additional scripts for use with CA Network Automation that perform the following functions:

• Create VLANs
• Create VLANs and subnets
• Delete VLANs

Important: To use this integration, CA Network Automation must be preconfigured and scripts imported into the NetMRI system. For more information, see the Administration Guide.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Resources, and open the Explore pane.
2. Right-click Data Center, and select Management, Network Management Automation.
3. Select a device name and click Run Script in the Actions drop-down list.
4. Select a script in the Run Script dialog and click Next.
5. Review the script description, provide any required parameters, and click Next.
6. Review the summary information, and click Finish.

   The script runs with the specified parameters.
