Delete IPC Mechanisms

The IPC group tables let you delete message queues, shared memory segments, and semaphores using an SNMP Set operation. Each of these tables contains a column that that causes the agent to destroy that instance of IPC usage.

Note: When you are performing SNMP Set operations, use a community name that grants you read-write access.

To delete IPC mechanisms, perform an SNMP set on the queDel (Message Queue table), shmemDel (Shared Memory table), or semDel (Semaphore table) attribute and set the attribute to delete(1).
