Client Software Development Kit

The CA Server Automation Client Software Development Kit (SDK) is provided to enable external applications to access CA Server Automation services. The SDK provides high-level functionality from a single point of contact and does not need to run on a CA Server Automation computer. The SDK uses web service calls to interact with CA Server Automation, so you only need to know the location of the service controller to use the SDK.

The SDK Application Programming Interface (API) is provided as a C library and associated header files. The API provides libraries for Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and Linux operating environments. A sample program is included to demonstrate the use of the API. Documentation for the API is provided in the header files and in an accompanying readme file.
