LPAR Shutdown LPAR

Shuts down an LPAR partition.

HMC/IVM Server Name

Specifies the IBM PowerVM (HMC/IVM) server name.

Example: "hostnamea"

Managed System Name

Specifies the IBM LPAR management system name.

Example: "lpar.any.com"

LPAR Partition Name

Specifies the name of the LPAR partition.

Example: "lpar_a"

LPAR Shutdown Type

Specifies the type of shutdown to perform. Available values are "delayed", "immediate", "os_shutdown", or "os_shutdown_immediate".

LPAR Profile

(Optional) Specifies the profile to use for the LPAR partition.

Example: "Default"
