Format the Status Monitor

The CICS resource monitor, the resource monitor, and the service monitor are variations of the status monitor. The status monitor comes with a set of predefined display formats.

Because the name of a CICS resource can be up to 17 characters long, you may want to use a display format that can accommodate the full name. The product supplies a format called LONGNAME for accommodating these names.

Status monitor display formats can be created to suit the operation requirements of your installation.

To change the display format, enter FORMAT and select the format.

Note: You can also use the PROFILE command to make the format part of your user profile.
