Non-displayable Stand-alone Comment Lines

If the minus (-) suppression character is used in conjunction with the asterisk (*) it indicates that the comment line display is to be suppressed. In such a case the comment is not displayed, even if executing from an OCS window, and acts solely as a source of documentation within the procedure.
