Troubleshooting Tips

If a problem occurs with a resource, perform one or more of the following tasks to help you determine the causes:

Enter S beside the resource.
The Modes and States panel appears. It provides reasons about why the resource has a particular status.
Enter L beside the resource.
The logged messages appear. If you find an RMMF0007 message, review the logged messages against the specified message rules to ensure that no required messages are missed.
Capture additional messages in the transient log by updating the resource Automation Log Details panel as follows:
- Specify YES in the Log Internal Audit Trail field.
- Specify YES in the Log All System Msgs field.

These messages can provide extra information about the problem. When you do not need these features any more, ensure that they are disabled.
