Installation Guide
The Getting Started guide is renamed the Installation Guide. The guide has been restructured and describes the following methods of installing CA SOLVE:Operations Automation:
- CA MSM—CA MSM simplifies and unifies the management of CA mainframe products on z/OS systems. The services provided by CA MSM acquire, install, deploy, and maintain products in a common way.
- Pax-Enhanced Electronic Software Delivery (ESD)—This utility enables you to download and install mainframe software and maintenance electronically to your own disk.
- Tape—You continue to use the Install Utility to install CA SOLVE:Operations Automation from tape using the SMP/E RECEIVE-APPLY-ACCEPT method.
