SYSCMD Facility Commands

Using the SYSCMD Facility › SYSCMD Facility Commands

The SYSCMD facility contains the following commands:

AOM START: Starts the local SYSCMD subset of the AOM operating system interface.
AOM STOP: Stops the local SYSCMD subset of the AOM operating system interface.
PROFILE: Displays a user profile.
SHOW AOMABEND: Displays diagnostic information if the SYSCMD subsystem interface code abends.
SHOW AOMSTAT: Displays AOM statistics.
SHOW CONSOLES: Displays the consoles currently allocated to your system for use by the SYSCMD facility.
STATUS: Displays current system status information.
SUBMIT: Passes a command to a background environment for processing.
SYSCMD: Issues a command to the local operating system and returns associated response messages to your system.
SYSPARMS: Initializes or modifies SYSCMD facility system parameter values.
