Add and Maintain Command Definitions

The command definition facility provides the following panels for you to specify information about commands:

• Command Details
• Prompting, Confirmation and Validation

To add a command definition

1. Enter /ASADMIN.C at the prompt.

   The Command List appears.

2. Press F4 (Add).

   The Command Details panel appears.

3. Complete the fields as required.

   Note: For more information, press F1 (Help).

4. (Optional) Press F8 (Forward).

   The Prompting, Confirmation and Validation panel appears.

5. (Optional) Complete the fields as required.
6. Press F3 (File).

   The command definition is saved.

Note: If you want to define a line command, the name can only be three characters long.

Command definitions can also be browsed, updated, copied, or deleted from the Command List panel.
