This section describes the Common Application Services (CAS) Criteria facility, and how to define and maintain criteria definitions.
Criteria are rules that can be used in a test, for example, the expression on an &BOOLEXPR statement or the scan expression on an &NDBSCAN statement. They are used as a condition for the occurrence of some event—such as the inclusion of a record in a list, for example.
