How to Modify the Directory Configuration File

Perform the following steps to modify the directory configuration file.

1. Modify the default user objects.
2. Change the default attribute descriptions.
3. Modify well-known attributes.

   Well-known attributes identify special attributes, such as the password attribute.

4. Configure your directory structure.
