Extend the OpenWave Directory Server Policy Store Schema

You can extend an existing 6.x policy store schema to include the objects introduced by r12.1. There are no changes to the existing 6.x policy store schema.

To extend an existing OpenWave Directory Server policy store schema

1. Navigate to policy_server_home/bin or policy_server_home\bin.
   • policy_server_home

     Specifies the Policy Server installation path.

2. Run the following command:

   smldapsetup ldmod
   -fdir_config_home/xps/openwave/OpenWave.ldif
   

   • -f

     Specifies the path and name of the XPS upgrade file.

   • dir_config_home

     Specifies the Directory Configuration installation path.

   The policy store schema is extended to include the objects introduced by r12.1.
