Cannot Stop SOA Security Gateway from Windows Services Control Panel (70265)
Presence of the Progress® SonicMQ® JMS provider can prevent the SOA Security Gateway service from being stopped from the Windows Services control panel. This is caused by failure of SonicMQ to shut down properly, leaving the SOA Security Gateway in a timeout state as it waits for its connection with SonicMQ to end properly.
Workaround
- Stop the SonicMQ application completely (MgmtBroker and Sonic Management Console).
- Once SonicMQ completely stops, refresh the SOA Security Gateway server from the SOA Security Gateway Management Console.
- Stop the SOA Security Gateway service from the Windows Services control panel.
