Installation Road Map

The following diagram illustrates a sample SOA Security Manager installation and lists the order in which you install and configure each component.

• A solid line surrounds the components that are required before configuring a policy store. They include the following:
  • A Policy Server
  • A non–registered FSS Administrative UI

  If a Policy Server is not part of your environment, do not continue with the installation process.

• The component surrounded by a green dotted line is the policy store, which you configure now.

The following figure depicts a single policy/key store instance. Although not illustrated, your environment can use separate instances for individual policy and key stores.
