Tuning the various SOA Security Manager Agent parameters and following the SOA Security Manager policy design guidelines may not significantly improve the amount of time it takes the Policy Server to service authentication and authorization requests.
When you have multiple Agents and Policy Servers, dynamic load balancing reduces latency and improves throughput because the Agents distribute requests among all of the Policy Servers.
