Protect the Federation Web Services Application

When you install the [set to your product name], policies for each service that comprises the Federation Web Services application are automatically created. Enforce the protection of the Federation Web Services application using SiteMinder policies.

Optionally, you can protect the Assertion Retrieval Service (SAML 1.x) or the Artifact Resolution Service (SAML 2.0) for artifact authentication. These services are components of Federation Web Services.
