Prepare an Unattended Configuration

Unattended configuration uses the [set the File Name variable]-pepconfig-installer.properties file to propagate the SOA Agent configuration set up across all Agents in your network. For configuration, you define configuration parameters in the properties file, then copy the file to any web server in your network to run an unattended configuration.

When you perform an initial SOA Agent installation and configuration, the [set the File Name variable]-pep-installer.properties file is installed in the following location:

soa_agent_home/install_config_info

The default parameters and paths in the file reflect the information you entered during the initial SOA Agent installation and configuration.

To make the [set the File Name variable]-pepconfig-installer.properties file available on your system

1. Run an initial installation of the SOA Agent.
2. Open the [set the File Name variable]-pepconfig-installer.properties file and, if necessary, modify the configuration parameters.
3. Save the file.
