Uninstall the Policy Server
You uninstall the Policy Server when it is no longer required on the system. Removing the Policy Server involves deleting the SOA Security Manager installation directory and removing smprofile.ksh from .profile.
To uninstall the Policy Server
- Change to the following directory in a console window:
SOA_HOME/install_config_info
- SOA_HOME

Specifies the SOA Security Manager installation location.
- Run the following command:
./soa-uninstall.sh
The uninstallation program appears.
- Choose whether you want to perform a complete uninstall or whether to uninstall specific features and proceed.
- If you chose to uninstall only specific features, select the installed components that you want to uninstall and proceed.
- The uninstall wizard removes all selected SOA Security Manager components.
Change the directory to SOA_HOME
- Enter $ rm -rf siteminder and press Enter.
The Policy Server installation directory is removed.
- Open .profile from the HOME directory.
- Locate and delete the line that contains smprofile.ksh.
Example: ./export/smuser/siteminder/smprofile.ksh
- Save. profile.
The Policy Server is uninstalled.
