Upgrade an r12.1 SOA Agent to r12.1 SP3 on Windows

The SOA Security Manager installer can upgrade existing SOA Agents to r12.1 SP3.

Consider the following:

To upgrade SOA Agents on Windows

  1. Exit all applications that are running and stop the web server.
  2. Double–click installation_media.
    installation_media

    Specifies the SOA Security Manager installation executable.

    The SOA Security Manager installation wizard starts.

    Note: For a list of installation media names for each operating system, see the installation and upgrade considerations in the Release Notes.

  3. Proceed through the wizard to upgrade the SOA Agent. Consider the following when running the installer:

    The new SOA Agent files are copied to the specified location.

  4. Choose whether to restart your system immediately or later.
  5. Re-configure the upgraded SOA Agent with the SOA Security Manager Configuration Wizard.

    Note: You do not need to re-register your trusted host.
