Uninstall CA RCM and JBoss Servers

You must uninstall any previous versions of CA RCM to upgrade to this version.

To uninstall CA RCM and JBoss servers

  1. In the installation directory of the existing version, browse to the folder
    \Uninstall_previous_version

Note: previous_version is the product name of the previous version.

  2. Launch the Uninstall previous_version.exe file.

    The uninstaller opens.

  3. Click Next to launch the uninstaller.

If the uninstaller prompts you to remove the CA RCM databases, select the Do not remove database objects option.

The previous CA RCM server and JBoss instances are removed.

Note: The uninstaller only removes components that were installed with the previous version. If you used an already existing instance of the CA RCM database or JBoss application server when you installed the previous version, the uninstaller does not remove these existing components. You must manually uninstall the local instance of the CA RCM JBoss application server.
