Enrich Resource Database

For each set of resources, R1, R2, R3 in the CA RCM RDB file that has a matching set of resources in the supplementary resource database file, CA RCM replaces the record in the RDB file with the record taken from the supplementary resource database file.

To enrich a resource database

  1. Click Management, Enrich Resource DB.

    The Resource Data Merge Converter window opens.

  2. In the Resource Database text field, enter the path and name of the CA RCM Users database that is to receive the supplementary HR data.
  3. In the Supplementary Resource DB File text field, enter the path and name of the file containing the supplementary HR data.
  4. In the Output Resource Database text field , enter the path and name of the resulting database file that contains the merged output.
  5. Click Enrich.

    A new CA RCM Resource database is generated and saved in the specified location.
