Create the CA RCM Server Cluster in WebSphere

On WebSphere, the CA RCM server is installed as a cluster. You create and configure the cluster on WebSphere before you install the CA RCM server application.

To create the CA RCM server cluster in WebSphere

  1. From the WebSphere console, click Severs, Clusters, New, and define a new cluster named RCM_cluster.

    In the Enter basic cluster information dialog, select the Prefer local option.

  2. Save changes to the master configuration.
  3. Restart the Deployment Manager (DMgr) and the WebSphere node.
