Integrated PDI (formerly Kettle)

You can define CA RCM import connectors that invoke Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) transformations and jobs. This feature allows for complex ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) operations during data import.

To use the PDI connector, set the pdi.home property of the CA RCM portal to the path where PDI is located on your system.

Note: PDI runs on 32 bit hosts only.

We recommend that you use kettle when you import data from endpoints that CA RCM does not natively support, or when you need a customization that is not available though the native connector.

You can use Kettle only for imports, not for exports.

Note: For more information, see the Portal User Guide.
