Connector for CA Identity Manager - Compatibility

The connector for CA Identity Manager lets you integrate CA RCM with CA Identity Manager by automatically synchronizing role-based privileges between the two systems. Use the connector to import CA Identity Manager data, or export updated data from CA RCM to CA Identity Manager.

Note: CA RCM does not export user and resource attribute updates.

You may encounter two endpoint configurations in the connector for CA Identity Manager:

• The connector configuration released with CA RCM r12.0, which contains predefined endpoint handlers for specific endpoint types.
• The connector configuration included in this release, which contains a customizable endpoint template in addition to the predefined handlers.

There are slight differences in the way these versions of the connector process and map information to CA RCM data structures. For this reason, data retrieved using different versions of the connector cannot be combined into a single CA RCM user or resource database.
