The Workpoint Business Process Management (BPM) solution lets you implement ticket-based workflows in the portal. For example, certification and approval campaigns are modeled as Workpoint processes, and are implemented by the CA RCM server and a Workpoint server.
Workpoint Designer is a client-side tool you use to import and edit process work flows. Install it on a computer with network access to the Workpoint server.
The CA RCM installer places an installation package for Workpoint Designer in the CA RCM server installation directory. Copy this package to a 32-bit windows computer to install Workpoint Designer.
To use a Windows-based instance of Designer with an AIX/WebSphere application server, you must also install IBM WebSphere Application Client on the Windows computer.
