AIX/WebSphere Installation Worksheet

For AIX installations, the CA RCM server installation creates the necessary EAR files that you copy to the WebSphere Application Server environment. Record the following application server information you need during installation:

Select the SQL Server Type

Specifies the supported database server type you want to install CA RCM against. Can be one of:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle

    Note: Make sure you complete the appropriate worksheet for your database server.

 

Select the Application Server Environment

Specifies the supported application server you want to install the CA RCM server on.

For WebSphere installations, you also define the name of the WebSphere Application Server host or cluster.

Note: The installation uses this information to prepare the EAR files that you later deploy on the WebSphere Application Server.

WebSphere host:

Select the WorkPoint host

Specifies the host name or IP address of the Workpoint server computer.

Default: Same as the Application Server—the WebSphere Application Server host.
