Input Pull-Down

This pull-down allows you to access two distinctly different groups of records:

• Option 1 accesses the records you can edit (the DEVELOPMENT version).
• Option 2 lets you look at those input records you've committed (the REAL version).

Committed records can't be edited as is. To make changes to committed records, you must first copy them to the DEVELOPMENT version (see The COPY Option).

Access

The Input pull-down appears when one of these events occurs:

• You type I in the fast path area of the Primary Panel's action bar.
• You choose Input from the Primary Panel's action bar.

Input

Use one of these methods to select an item from the Input pull-down:

• Type the number of your selection in the input area. For example, type 2 in the input area to select 2. Commit Definitions.

• Tab to an option's number and press Enter to select that item.

Pathways

Option 1. Input Definitions displays the Input Record Descriptions panel where you can list existing IRDs or create new IRDs.

Option 2. Commit Definitions displays the Browse Committed IRDs panel which allows you to select a committed IRD for display.

F12

(Cancel) Removes the Input pull-down and returns to the Primary Panel.
