Add Schedule Information to a Change Order

You can add schedule information when you create or edit a change order.

To add schedule information

  1. Do one of the following actions:
  2. Complete the following schedule fields:
    Type

    Specifies the ITIL change type as Standard, Normal, or Emergency. A default value may be defined for a change category that CA SDM uses to initialize new change orders of the category.

    Schedule Start Date

    Specifies the start date of the change order.

    Duration

    Specifies the duration of the change order, in 00:00:00 format.

    The schedule contains only those change orders with a non-empty schedule start date and duration. Type is useful to group change orders on the schedule, but does not directly affect scheduling.

  3. Continue creating the change order.
  4. Click Save when you finish.

    The schedule information is added to the change order.
