Move Knowledge Daemons

Knowledge daemons provide the knowledge base for CA SDM. They are installed on the primary server by default, but you can use the pdm_edit.pl utility to move them to secondary servers.

To move knowledge daemons

  1. From the pdm_edit.pl top menu select K, and press Enter.

    The Knowledge Daemons submenu appears.

  2. Enter E to change the host.
  3. Enter primary for the primary server or the name of the secondary server.

    The knowledge daemons are moved.
