Lets you predefine the IMS SVC numbers used in your system. Through IMSSVCx, you supply the number of the one of 16 possible IMS SVCs that CA OPS/MVS supports, with x representing the number of the IMS SVC found in the SVC table of the operating system. The x value does not correlate to the number of IMS control regions.
If you do not set the IMSSVCx parameter, CA OPS/MVS scans the SVC table of the system at startup and sets the parameter automatically.
