Desccodes Argument

This argument specifies the MCS descriptor codes to be associated with the message on the receiving system, and places those codes in the appropriate fields of the OPSLOG Browse data area. The default value for desccodes is the descriptor codes of the message that caused the rule issuing OPSSEND to execute (assuming that it is a message rule). These descriptor codes match the contents of the MSG.DESC variable only if MSG.DESC has not been modified.

The desccodes value is a character string that holds the internal bit configuration of the descriptor codes. It has the same format as the MSG.DESC field.
