Record Fields for Initiator (INIT) Inquiries

Record fields for inquiries about initiators (defined as such with the INIT value) contain the following:

Word Number: 1

Length: 4

Contains the initiator ID or name.

Word Number: 2

Length: 8

Contains the initiator status. Possible values are:

DRAINED

DRAINING

HALTED

HALTING

ACTIVE

INACTIVE

STARTING

Word Number: 3

Length: 8

Contains the job name.

Word Number: 4

Length: 8

Contains the job number.

Word Number: 5

Length: 1

Contains the job class.

Word Number: 6

Length: 2

Contains the execution priority (1 through 15).

Word Number: 7

Length: 36

Contains the classes for initiators.

Word Number: 8

Length: 4

Contains the initiator number.

Word Number: 9

Contains the ASID of the initiator.

Length: 4

Word Number: 10

Length: 4

Specifies the service of either JES2 or WLM.

Word Number: 11

Length: 16

Contains the WLM scheduling environment name

Note: Word 10 (Service) indicates the class of initiator. If the initiator is a WLM managed initiator, this word contains the value 'WLM'. If the initiator is a JES2 managed initiator, this word contains the value 'JES2'. When the initiator status is INACTIVE, DRAINED, or HALTED this word contains a value of four asterisks.
