OPSCA7 returns the return code from the function call, which is zero if the command was successfully passed to the U7SVC routine. However, a return code of zero does not mean that the command executed successfully. The EDQ may contain information about command syntax errors.
Other possible values include:
The program U7SVC was not found in the STEPLIB or LINKLIST data sets.

OPSCA7 was used in a rule. OPSCA7 can only be called from an OPS/REXX program.
No valid arguments were passed.
Too few arguments were passed.
Too many arguments were passed.
