OPSIPL Returned Values

If the parameter has no value, a null string is returned. Otherwise, word one of the returned string is one of the following:

• The suffix of the LOADxx or IEASYSxx member from which the parameter was derived
• D - A system default value
• An operator specified value

The remainder of the string is the value of the parameter. Suffix strings and multi-valued parameters for IEASYSxx are generally enclosed in parentheses and separated by commas. LOADxx keyword statement images generally follow the operand layouts in the parameter library member description. The exact layout is mapped in macro IHAIPA. Usability flag meanings are also documented in macro IHAIPA. To determine the documented meaning, you can use the C2X() REXX function on the OPSIPL return value.
