MSF ACTIVATE—Activate a Session

This command causes the MSF to try to activate a session with the named system or with all defined remote systems.

This command has the following format:

ADDRESS OPSCTL "MSF ACTIVATE keywords"
  {msfid(sysname|ALL)}
  [OUTPUT|NOOUTPUT]
  [SYSTEM(sysid)]
  [SYSWAIT(seconds)]
  [WAIT(seconds)]
MSFID(sysname or ALL)

A required keyword specifying the name of the system to be activated. System names can contain one to eight characters. The first character must be @, #, or $ or an alphabetic character, but the remaining characters can be any alphabetic or national character. If you specify ALL in place of sysname, the MSF tries to activate sessions with all defined remote systems that do not currently have active sessions.

OUTPUT, NOOUTPUT, SYSTEM, SYSWAIT, and WAIT

(Optional) You may specify the OUTPUT, NOOUTPUT, SYSTEM, SYSWAIT, and WAIT keywords.
