Function Argument

The function argument determines the type of USS information that is to be returned or processed by the subfunction argument.

The valid functions are:

PROCESS: Retrieve matching USS process (task) information for the subfunction selection criteria.
USER: Retrieve user information for a particular USS user ID or user name.
GROUP: Retrieve group information for a particular USS group ID or group name.
INFO: Retrieve the USS dub status for the current task.
SET: Change the effective user ID or group ID of the current process to the value specified if allowed by the security system.
