TYPESEC Return Codes

The TYPESEC command produces these return codes:

0

The command executed successfully.

4

The command did not execute. A warning message explains why, either because the terminal is not defined or because it is not enabled.

12

The command tried to issue an invalid keystroke. This code often results when the keyboard is inhibited from accepting input or when the command tries to enter text into a protected field on the screen.
