Host Command Defined

A host command is a command that an OPS/REXX program or an AOF rule sends to a non-REXX environment for execution. You use an ADDRESS instruction in a rule or OPS/REXX program to pass the command to the host. To find out which of the host environments are supported by each rule type, see the AOF Rules User Guide.
