Introduction to Customization

You can customize CA Network Flow Analysis to ensure that users get the best results from the reports they display and generate.

Once CA Network Flow Analysis is registered as a data source for CA Performance Center, you perform some configuration and customization tasks in CA Performance Center. You use CA Performance Center to perform the configuration tasks for users, roles, SNMP profiles, and many types of groups.

As an Administrator for CA Network Flow Analysis, you can perform the following customization tasks in the NFA console:

• Create and manage interface aggregations
• Create and manage interface templates
• Create protocol groups
• Label ToS values
• Create ToS groups
• Name routers
• Create time filters
• Create reporting periods
