Change Your Default NCP Monitor Profile
When you access the NCP monitor, the type of information available is determined by your default profile. The profile specifies the following:
- Filter to use when you first enter the NCP monitor.
- Number of monitored entities to display across the screen and the corresponding display format (if applicable).
- Criteria that determine how the monitored entities are sorted for display.
- Flag that indicates whether to see extended displays.
To change the defaults
- Enter PROFILE at the prompt.
A Profile panel for your monitor type appears.
This panel contains fields that enable you to change your default profile for this type of monitor.
- To select a new default, enter ? in the appropriate field.
A list of available values appears.
- Select a value, and press Enter.
- Do one of the following:
- Press F3 (File) to save the new defaults and return to the NCP monitor.
- Press F4 (Save) to save the new defaults and remain on the panel.
