About System Variables

The following table is a list of the system variables with a brief description of their function.

The Feature/Component column indicates whether a specific feature or component must be included in the initialization parameters at region startup before you can use the variable.

For more information about system initialization parameters, see the Reference Guide.

Note: Automation Services (AS) is an internal component that is enabled if any of the following products are configured in the region: FT, NETSPY, OPSCICS, OPSOS, SNA, SNAAUTO, TCPIP.
